Camila Puig

Major: History, concentrating in Gender, Sexuality, and the Family

Camila is from Mexico City and grew up there until moving to Wales to attend the United World College school Atlantic College for the last two years of high school. Outside academics, Camila is a member of Columbia’s International Relations Council and Association serving as chief of staff for the annual Model United Nations Conference. At Barnard, Camila is a Student Admission Representative, Resident Assistant for upper-class students and an Athena Scholar. Her devotion to Barnard, her home country and people around the world are what brought her to care deeply about climate justice and the divest movement.
